Brett Sums up the Year 2000

Well, it's my last year of high school.  Dang.  No more learning and doing stuff that's really worth my time.  I'll really miss it.  Oh well.  Now I'm looking at college stuff that they send me in the mail.  Too much fun.  But now to the good stuff.  Sounds like I'll be an adult in about a month.  Yep the big 18.  I'll get to vote and ..... do other stuff people do when they are 18.

At left. I am driving back from a Kenai baseball game with my dad (he's taking the picture).

We drove most of the way with the top down. It was fun, but hard to hear the radio.

Last year I left off playing basketball on the JV team. We had a successful season winning most of the games. I had the point guard spot like usual. A couple games I didn't even come out of the game, but it didn't phase me. Right after basketball was over, I left on a baseball trip to L.A., California.  Man that was sweet.  It was so nice we're going again this spring break.  It was weird playing down there cuz that was our first time being on grass again in about 5 months.  We ended up winning four games and losing six, but it was ok with us.  It was our preseason.  At the end of the trip we got to go to Knott's Berry Farm. It was very cool, we had a lot of fun.  A couple days later we went to Magic Mountain which was even cooler.  They had a brand new ride out, it got up to about 85 mph.

After our trip it was time for the real season. We were 5-5 in the high school season which could have been better. Much better, but it was the best a Bartlett team has ever done in the high school season.  The legion season was about the same, we were doing better but we lost some players and that hurt us pretty bad.

Summer is over and it is time to go back to school.  My senior year. So I picked out four easy classes and one hard class, calculus ....ouch It's going pretty well and I can't wait till semester cause my schedule gets even easier, no more calculus.  Now I spend my time looking at college stuff and waiting for class to get over.  L8R
